David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, to Nigerian parents. He is the son of Adedeji Adeleke, a renowned Nigerian businessman and entrepreneur, and the late Vero Adeleke, a respected university lecturer.
Although born in the United States, Davido was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where he attended the British International School. From an early age, he displayed a strong passion for music and entertainment.
After completing his secondary education, Davido moved to the United States to study Business Administration at Oakwood University in Alabama. During his time at the university, his interest in music grew significantly, leading him to develop his vocal skills and begin recording music. As his passion for music intensified, he left his studies and relocated to London to focus on building a career in the music industry.
